WE INVITE YOU TO THE SECOND INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE
CONTEXTS OF SOCIAL POLICY AND SOCIAL WORK
POLICY – MANAGEMENT – EDUCATION
WHICH WILL TAKE PLACE FROM 10-11 JUNE 2025
Dear Sir/Madam,
We cordially invite you to participate in the international conference entitled “Contexts of
Social Policy and Social Work. Policy – Management – Education”, which will take place from
10-11 June 2025 at the University of the National Education Commission in Cracow.
The aim of the conference is to exchange interdisciplinary knowledge and experience on
contemporary challenges in politics, education, security and governance. In the face of
dynamic socio-political, technological and economic changes, it is necessary to deepen
the debate on effective strategies and solutions.
Contemporary problems, social changes, dynamics of development, globalization, crises,
functioning of the individual, challenges in the field of social issues, growing inequalities,
development policy, demand interdisciplinary knowledge in the field of social policy,
management and education. The starting point of the scientific discourse is the
development of innovative strategies, scientific discussions in the area of social services,
management of organizations, institutions and human resources.
Suggested topics for speeches include:
– Contemporary crises – as a challenge for social policy, education and governance
– Social, economic and cultural determinants of education
– Social and educational changes – family, work, school
– Manager in social services
– International experience in social policy, security and education
– Modern technologies in social policy, management, education
– Social policy and social work in relation to different areas of assistance
– The role of NGOs and the social economy in supporting communities at risk of
inclusion
– Social security as a modern challenge
– Social policy at the global, regional and local levels
– Human resource management in social policy and education
We kindly encourage you to prepare speeches on the above topics or other topics related
to the main stream of the conference. We believe that your participation will enrich the
discussion and also contribute to the development of valuable conclusions.
The conference fee is 650,00 PLN. It includes organisational costs, conference materials,
meals, accompanying events and publication costs following positive reviews, but does
not include accommodation and travel costs.
We have planned to publish articles in scored journals (after obtaining a positive review).
For this reason, we ask that the articles for publication be submitted before the date of
the conference (the appropriate time of submission will be specified in announcement no.
2).
We hope that the discourse undertaken in the face of the above mentioned challenges will
show the theoretical and practical side of joint actions and will contribute to joint debate,
new approaches, find social impact and influence the professionalization of social actions.
A special dimension will be the building of scientific relations in the context of social policy
and social work in terms of: politics, management and education.
